I'm pretty sure this is the first pair of cosplay girls I ever did. Millennium Falcon/X-wing and Death Star/TIE Fighter-themed outfits. People have even made dresses based on the Death Star girl. For serious.
My fancy dress series, inspired by cosplayers at conventions, gothic lolita fashion, and my love of Halloween, has been featured all over the internet, notably The Border House and IO9, as well as the official Star Wars blog and Dr Who tumblr. I'm honored! Many of them are a juxtaposition of traditionally boy-oriented pop culture with something as ultra-feminine as big poofy dresses, and they all try to incorporate a lot of personality and individuality in the characters wearing these outfits.
